Not because the founder isn't working hard enough. But because when you're deep in the day-to-day, it's almost impossible to see where it's quietly leaking out.
Leads slipping through the cracks because there's no proper follow-up process. Software you're paying for but barely using. A sales process that only works when you're in the right mood. No onboarding system. No review strategy. No real way of knowing what's actually working and what's quietly costing you.
You're not failing. You're just too close to it. You need someone to walk in, look at everything, and tell you the truth — then stay in your corner while you fix it.
One conversation. One tip. A 20% increase in revenue. That's what happened when I sat down with a business owner and looked at what they were missing. This is what The Business Edit does — finds the gaps you can't see yourself.
You've got the drive.
You need the direction.
The Business Edit is for service-based female founders who are doing the work but not seeing the growth they deserve. Coaches, consultants, VAs, designers, copywriters, therapists, membership owners, community builders, network leaders — if you sell your expertise, your time, or your skills, this is for you. You're not a beginner — you've got traction, clients, a real business. You just need someone to help you see the wood for the trees.
One day to see everything.
Three months to build it.
The Business Edit isn't coaching and it isn't a course. It's a real, hands-on strategic partnership — starting with a full day together to map every corner of your business, then three months of focused guidance to put the plan into action.
Month One —
The Edit Day
We meet in person — somewhere nice, away from the noise, lunch on me. We go through your entire business together. Your systems, offers, sales process, tech stack, follow-up, onboarding, social strategy — everything on the table.
You leave with a clear, prioritised roadmap. We then follow up with two 1-on-1 online sessions to make sure you're off to a flying start and building momentum straight away.
Month Two —
The Shift
Two focused online sessions where we work through your roadmap together. We check what's landed, what needs tweaking, and what to tackle next.
I'm not here to do it for you. I'm here to make sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, in the right way. This is where the real growth starts.
Month Three —
The Next Chapter
Two more sessions plus a dedicated next steps session — a forward-planning call where we map out exactly where your business is, what you've achieved, and what the road ahead looks like.
You don't just leave with things done. You leave with a clear picture of what's next and how to get there — and if you want to keep working together, we'll talk about what that looks like.
Nothing gets missed.
Nothing is off limits.
Most consultants specialise in one area. I look at everything — because in most businesses, the leak isn't where you think it is.
I didn't just build
this framework.
I lived it.
I'm Alison Cooper — award-winning business strategist, CPD Certified Launch & Funnel Strategist, and Keap Certified Partner with 17 years of working inside real businesses as an online service provider. In 2026 I was recognised as Best Automation Partner — East of England at the SME IT Awards.
Hundreds of clients. Thousands of hours seeing exactly what works, what leaks, and what quietly doubles revenue when you finally fix it. I've given one tip in a single conversation that immediately increased a business owner's revenue by 20%.
When I acquired Six Figured Females — a membership community for female founders — I applied every single one of these strategies to it myself. I treated it as my own live client and proof of concept. In 10 months, I grew it by 300%. That's not theory. That's exactly what I'll bring to your business.
I'm not going to tell you what you want to hear. I'm going to tell you what your business actually needs — and stay with you while you build it.
Growth delivered to Six Figured Females in just 10 months — using the exact same strategies I'll apply to your business.
Working online as a service provider across hundreds of businesses — from CRM and funnels to Meta ads, AI, and automation.
Of business owners supported, systems built, and revenue leaks plugged. I've seen most problems before. I know how to fix them.

The Business Edit is designed specifically for service-based and membership-led businesses — coaches, consultants, VAs, designers, copywriters, therapists, community builders, membership owners, and anyone who sells their expertise, time, or skills. That's where my 17 years of experience sits, and it's where I can genuinely make the biggest difference. I grew Six Figured Females — a membership community — by 300% in 10 months using these exact strategies, so if you run a membership or community business, you're absolutely in the right place. Ecommerce businesses are a different world with very different needs, and I wouldn't be doing you justice trying to apply a service-based framework to a product business.
No — and that's intentional. The Business Edit is strategic guidance and support, not a done-for-you service. I'll tell you exactly what to do, in what order, and how to do it — and I'll be with you via WhatsApp and on our calls while you work through it. But you'll be the one doing the doing. That's how the change actually sticks. If you're looking for someone to build things out for you, that's a different conversation — and we can have it.
Not necessarily. My starting point is always what you've already got — because most businesses aren't getting anywhere near the full value from the tools they're already paying for. We'll focus on making what you have actually work for you first. That said, if it becomes clear that a particular tool or piece of tech would make a genuine difference to your business, I'll tell you — and I'll help you understand exactly what it is and why. Nothing will be suggested unless it genuinely earns its place.
Yes — The Edit Day is fully in person. We'll agree on a location that works for both of us, somewhere away from the noise where we can think clearly. Lunch is on me. All five follow-up sessions across months one, two and three are held online via video call, so there's no need to travel for those.
Absolutely. I'm not here to baffle you with technology — I'm here to help your business run better. Yes, we'll look at your tech stack and yes, I'll introduce you to ways AI and automation can save you serious time. But I explain everything in plain language, at your pace. You don't need to be techy. You just need to be open to doing things differently.
That depends on what we agree to tackle and how quickly you want to move. What I will say is that this isn't a programme where you can just show up to calls and hope for the best — you'll need to be taking action between sessions. In practice, most people find it fits naturally into their existing working week because we're not adding extra work, we're replacing scattered effort with focused, purposeful tasks. You'll always leave each session knowing exactly what to do before the next one.
Very different. Coaching typically focuses on mindset, goals, and accountability. What I do is operational — I come in and look at the actual mechanics of your business. The systems, the processes, the tech, the strategy, the gaps. Think of it less like a coach and more like a Fractional COO who genuinely gets into the weeds with you. Many of my clients work with coaches too — the two things sit alongside each other really well.
Honestly, probably not yet. The Business Edit works best when there's an existing business to look at — real clients, a live offer, something already in motion. If you're in the very early stages, a lot of what we'd cover wouldn't have anywhere to land yet. If you're generating revenue, have clients, and feel like your business is running you rather than the other way around — that's the sweet spot. If you're not sure, just apply and we'll have an honest conversation about whether now is the right time.
Life happens — I get it. If you need to reschedule a session, just let me know with as much notice as possible and we'll find another time. What I do ask is that you come into this with genuine commitment. Three months goes quickly, and the founders who get the most out of this are the ones who show up consistently and do the work. If you're going through a particularly hectic period, it might be worth timing your start date around that.
Month 3 ends with a dedicated next steps session — we map out exactly where your business is, what you've achieved, and what the road ahead looks like. You leave with total clarity, not a cliff edge. If you want to keep working together beyond the three months, absolutely — I'd love that. We can talk about a lighter-touch ongoing arrangement that keeps the momentum going without the same intensity. Many clients find that once the foundations are in place, a monthly or bi-monthly check-in is all they need to stay on track. And if you're a female founder, Six Figured Females — my membership community — is a brilliant place to stay connected and be around other women building serious businesses.
If you're reading this page and nodding along — you're probably ready. The founders who get the most from The Business Edit are the ones who know something needs to change, are willing to be honest about what isn't working, and are ready to take action. You don't need to have everything figured out. You don't need to know exactly what's broken. That's literally what I'm here to help you work out. If you're committed to your business and ready to invest in it properly — apply, and let's talk.
